This tricolor flag in Thailand called „trirong“, was introduced for the first time in King Vajiravudh (Rama VІ-th) in 1917, following the old model of the Thai flag – a white elephant on red background.

Geographical location: Thailand is situated in the heart of Southeast Asia, covers an area of 513.115 sq. km and extends to about 1.620 kilometers from north to south and 775 kilometers from east to west. Thailand borders Burma to the west, north by Laos, on the east by Laos and Cambodia and to the south by Malaysia.

Capital: Bangkok with a population of 12 million inhabitants.
